Oh Yes I know now....Just tackle it in increments and get the job done!

You see this pretty tall thing....I just picked her up from freecycle and she stands perfect there on that side of the wall.... She is so gracious to house our microwave and on the bottom cabinet inside she holds my crock pot, toaster and griddle...and to top it off(he he) she is kind enough to keep hold of my canning jars and equipment..Isnt she grand..

Whats so ironic about her is that the family that gave her to me were the same family that gave me my moving boxes...I just Love Freecycle....Dont You!

~ WE GOT MOVED ~

....... obviously buying a home is nothing like purchasing one of those fun capsules that if you soak in water the prize will emerge out as a full fledge house all in order...
As the Lord sure does have a sense of humor when teaching ones prodigal daughter with severe OCD and ADD to exercise patience especiall in the area of nesting(me want it now, the Will so far....turtle pace) and as promised photos( the tour of the acres will be set for a later date).

Let the Moving in Begin

Can you believe that when I had 4(yes 4) big burly men to help me move they couldnt figure out how to move my fridge into the kitchen (without wanting to take the doors off,which required a special star key that I didnt have to they left my fridge in the living room), but leave it to one desperate new home owner and a friend who recently had surgery , do it ourselves with the doors intact...(ps we even were able to move the piano ourselves too but shhh the guys egos are still bruised from the fridge incident.ha ha)( I am the one in the back smiling behind my son)

Still waiting on my kitchen to look half as clean as it does here with all the stuff in boxes.Ha Ha

I am literally blocked outta my bathroom and bedroom.....

Here is what the "dinning" area looks like now....... ( very scary indeed) even my pets are afraid to move in that area of the house)..

Apperiantly the instant you move to the country you are adopted by the local Hen that owns the place/property( say hello to Barbara(the name my daughter gave her), she was born and raised here on our place, and needless to say my daughter and son(as well as miss Dixie) have taken a shine to her as she is to them(not so much the dog but you get the idea), so the sellers have given her to us... but wait the adoption of animals doesnt end there as another has decided she will adopt us as well...or is that the other way around....(ha ha, stay tuned as her idenity will be unveiled in the days to come)....moving on

Tim, they are a fellow military and family of our Pastors church...

They were expecting their second child, and Laura couldnt wait to be done being pregnant, so I put her to work with the moving and what not and by the next day(very early morning) she was having their second son Collin Michael........

Please forgive me for not showing a photo of the handsome new blessing, Just protecting the families privacy....

As exhausted as I am the excitement to begin our adventure in "homesteading" is still there and this is a blessing come true, I pray so hard that this new home of ours will be a praise that shouts Glory to the Highest each and every day....

PS: on a side note, please continue to keep us in your prayers, the home inspection for the DHS is drawing near, and getting our house somewhat settled into home is still needing to be done if we are to continue taking the steps to getting custody of my beloveds nephew..... and on a somber note, my darling daughters medium Pinscher Bruno has been missing now for 4 days, and although I have tried to encouragemy daughter with a heart to prayer, the reality of country life is coming to full swing for her and my son, as worse case scenario could have happened to him(coyottes, and possible mountain lion spottings in the area).... she is quite upset and taking it hard......

~ Wanna Help Me Move( for the 3rd time asking) ~

I know how many time am I going to throw that out at you all. But seriously I am serious this time.... Now that we closed on the house I can sure use some help here. Naw I am good, the Lord as always is supplying my help. So much so that Dennis our realtor(and also elder at the church) is renting a u haul truck for me( ahhhhhhhh)and so Saturday begins my day of moving in officially and I cant count the one load I just ran out there for the stuff that belongs in the shop besides that was taking the man tools over there and that is outside my domain.. ha ha.

Any how the kids and I have a late night ahead of us as we now pack up the bottom stairs so when the Uhaul gets here in the morning everything will be ready to be loaded..Sooo Toodles

~ The Art of Home Labour..... Learning to Breathe ~

I just got a call from my lender..... the house passed re inspection, and the well and septic tests came back AOK........ Now I am just waiting to hear back on what day we will close on the house Thursday or Friday...... I cannot express to you the peace I have felt all day today and then to get this news on top of it is just more zzzzzz's for me in dream land.....

~ Busy At Home.... At Least Getting Ready To Be ~

Its going to be a busy day as the kids and I once again tackle our tasks of lessons, house keeping and now yard work. I am not sure if I will hear any more news regarding the HOUSE but if I do you can bet I will be letting you all know. Since I have dragged you all in this house buying bit this far you can suffer through to the end. Am I not so kind to let you in on this insanity

.LOL.

Speaking of cleaning house, I did get an estimate cost for the government approved final inspection cleaning yesterday .....$375 which will approve that this place will pass the final walk out which is set for the 26th of this month at 3pm. It is a little steep but desperate times call for shelling out the dough. In fact I was even blessed to have been able to get a cleaning crew as they are pretty booked for the next couple of months. Now that I have that taken care of the kids and I can begin packing in the next couple of days and loading it up into the horse trailer I am borrowing from a friend( she has one of those big long ones) so even if I have to stay at her place for a few days(for whatever reason...shoot the way things have been for buying this place ya never know) everything will still be in one area and easy to move over to the other house when its ready. The great thing about this too is if I do have to stay at Janelle's she is only 2 miles from the house we are buying so at least I wont be driving all over the place with my stuff in the back of a trailer...

This sums it up pretty much on how I am sure the days will be over this week or so, What crazy things do you all got going besides making me jealous that you are laying out the fall decor while I have to keep mine boxed up for now.
