Abundant Springs

I usually complain about the weather here in Central Florida - that's because it can be REALLY HOT! here and the past few weeks are no exception.

While the rest of the country has snow, sleet, ice, rain storms and generally bad weather, we have had most days at 80 degrees or so.  Now, for those of you in less than desirable conditions, I apologize for what I'm about to say - but what I wouldn't give for just a little COOL ......

Monday is supposed to be 67 degrees or so - this is about the temperature which makes native Floridians break out their long sleeves and sweaters!! TRULY!

Did I mention the up and down temps every few days is maddening?  One day it's 80 so I'm in shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops....two days later it's in the 50's again so I have to dig out my long sleeves & jeans (No such thing as season clothing here!) Oh and by-the-by, I wear my sandals or flip-flops regardless of the temps (prefer bare feet anyway!)

Don't get me wrong!  My husband (he grew up in Ohio) tells me all the time that our weather sure beats shoveling snow or walking in sub-zero temps  but please, just a little variance in the temps would be nice. 

Cool weather here comes and goes all too quickly and then we're up in the 90's with awful humidity.

Anyway, today is sunny with a slight breeze with a high of 80 - should be a nice day ~ and I'm done complaining!
