Planting a Winter Garden

Well, DH finally decided that we could plant a winter garden!!

I'm so excited!! I'll be looking for what types of fruits and veggies grow well here where we live and then I'll get to find out where I can get some to plant.

The kids will be helping out as well. We decided that if we're going to be self-sufficient once we move to our mountain homestead in VA that we'd better start learning on our flat, sandy, FL homestead.

I'll let you know what I come up with.
