Recently I was able to to try walking on a slack rope. At first my ankles were wobbly and it was hard to control them. I couldn't keep my balance. After a while I could take a step, but it was hard. Some people told me to keep my eyes straight ahead, instead of looking at my feet. It didn't seem to work at first but after a while it was almost as if where I looked was my balance. If I looked to the side I was soon off the line, but if I kept my eyes fixed at the end of the rope I could usually go farther. I had a fun time on the slack rope in the Yukon and now that I am home I think my dad will put up a slack rope here!![]() |
