It's hard to believe that Christmas is less than 3 months away!!!   It's amazing how we can go from weeks of hot weather to suddenly cooler weather with a cold breeze and see leaves falling all over the place. And the rain is back! I don't mind the rain in the early fall because, it's nice to have the windows open and listen to it pattering on the ground.

School is in full swing.   There has been a change in the house. Our neighbor had some issues with our cats, so we brought them back in. Our house is only 1,000 square ft and we have 5 cats and a catbox (again).   I'm not all that excited about that last part. We're talking about putting it in the laundry room or garage in the near future. The VERY near future.

October also means going to the local farm/produce stand and riding the horse drawn wagon to the pumpkin patch and maybe going through the corn maze. Last year, it took us about 20 minutes to go through it. There were two little girls who had entered the maze before us and we had crossed paths with them a couple of times.   When we emerged, we saw two sets of parents who asked us if we had seen their girls. I wonder how long it was before they made it out and I wonder if the parents finally had to go in and find them.
