Our Suburban Homestead

• Thursday, June 19, 2008 - What We Filled Our Days with in the Spring

Hi There,
Summer is almost here, tomorrow actually.

So I thought I'd try to add some pictures to show what we did in the spring.

This is a picture of the French flag that our son made for the night that we had ratatouille for dinner.  He also drew and cut out a picture of an Eiffel Tower, which he taped just below the flag.   The kids actually liked the ratatouille, even though it was full of vegetables that they normally don't like.   So I'm thinking that if Pixar could make more movies named after veggie dishes, that our kids might be encouraged to eat healthier food.   Just a thought.

This is one of our cats, Oscar.  This cat will sleep anywhere and in the strangest positions (ones that would make my back hurt if I tried sleeping like that)

In April, we went to a model train show and swap meet at the fairgrounds.   Kevin and Kylin are really into trains.  Heather isn't at all, but she was a good sport (after she was reminded about how her brother went to alot of events that she liked and he didn't).

Ok, here it is!  I blogged a few weeks ago about how Kevin had asked for our opinion if he pierced his ear one night, and the very next day came home with it pierced.
