We got to try a variety, and we each (all the “women-folk” of the homestead) had a favorite! For me it was the Rosemary Shampoo Bar, I have heard raves about this product over at Crystals “Family Homestead” site/message board, and it lives up to the raves! I have wanted to try it, as I don’t like the commercial shampoos and all the chemicals and artificial ‘junk’ in them. Crystal’s Rosemary Shampoo Bar left my hair feeling clean, with a light natural scent and no chemicals!!
I also absolutely loved the scent of the Oatmeal, Milk and Honey Goats Milk Soap, and got one use before youngest daughter took off with it and she adores it too. I like the way it leaves your skin soft, and has a light exfoliation factor to it with the Oatmeal in it. Oldest daughter loves the Fuzzy Navel Lotion and Soap. I wondered how she’d do with it, as she has had dry skin issues in the past, and is very sensitive to anything with much of any fragrance to it, and it’s ended up leaving her skin soft and she loves the light, fresh scent to it too!
The Lip Balms are very nice and I especially love that they don’t have any artificial colors, and the Black Raspberry is not overpowering, just right. No artificial ‘flavors’ to them either, just a nice natural hint of Black Raspberry, and the Shea Butter is sooo softening! They both soften and hold in moisture, and that’s a huge plus for me in the winter.
If you enjoy the commercial brands and what they offer, then Crystal’s products may not be for you. I happily support home based businesses that offer high quality, natural, handcrafted goods with a personal touch over the mass marketed, machine cranked out, chemical laden, any day!
I would definitely recommend Crystals Products, very high quality, natural and handcrafted right on her own homestead!
