Meet Serene Allison, if you aren’t familiar with her already! Serene has many credits to her name, including her “Rejuvenate Your Life Un Cookbook.” Franklin Springs Family Media has captured Serene’s teaching on health and taking care of our families in this DVD that is full of energy and fun!
Serene shows us healthy eating in a way I haven’t seen before, with information on whole, raw, natural foods, and the benefits they contain for the whole family. The American diet (or lack-there-of) is full of toxins, chemicals, and processed junk. In this country we have many healthy choices available, and we could be eating so much better than we are. We ought to be raising our children to know what healthy eating and nutrition really is, as our Creator designed. Serene’s energy and vitality shine through in her fun, entertaining style of teaching.
This DVD shows us creative recipes (such as raw pizza), tips, and information (like what a young coconut is, and what advantages it contains for our health) that will benefit us and our children. Serene also shares shopping tips, food preparation, and so much information on changing the way we think about what exactly we are putting into our bodies. This DVD will definitely impact your way of thinking when it comes to what we are feeding our families.
If you are sold on fast food, processed foods, if the microwave is your best friend and you enjoy eating and living life on the run, I don’t think you will enjoy this. However, if you are ready to make some changes to how you feed your family, and the long term health of your family then this is for you!
