Ramblings

I am a list maker.   I may not always look at my list, but once I have written it down I tend to get more done.  So I have big plans today to take a big chunk out of this week's list.   Yesterday was one of those days that I was really busy working all day but the house did not look very put together by the end of the day.  The main issue......I grossly underestimated how  much laundry had piled up on me.   If  I work really hard today and tom. , maybe I will get caught back up.

The boys are up and starting on school, they have drama club this afternoon,  school tends to be done in a timely manner on this day.   They do not want to miss out.  

I will count this a productive day if I can sit at the sewing machine and finish up the last of the buttonholes.  I have had several unfinished items waiting on the buttonholes.  My old machine would no longer make them, so now I can complete the projects with my new machine.  I have  really enjoyed my new machine.  I purchased a Janome 3022.   This machine is so nice and quiet.   My sewing list for this week is:

finish the buttonholes

cut out 2 batiste slips,  navy dress, an amish apron, and two bib aprons

start sewing on the slips first, then the dress

I do not like to cut out things, so I tend to cut out several items at one time, then I can just keep on sewing.

Well the laundry is calling my name and my list awaits...........at least I can mark off one item........my blog is updated.........

Any time you want to come sew here, just let me know!
We do the same thing -- cut several items, then we stitch assembly-line fashion to get it finished :o) I've always been like that...I'm not too keen on the cutting and prep work. I like to dig in and see progress. Ahh, such impatience I have :o(

Impatience is a good word to describe when I sew.......cannot wait to get the project started.....finished and on to a new project and loving it the whole time.....

I to am a list maker. It seems after I make a list, I can remember what I need to do and don't need a list. But if I don't make a list I am in trouble, can't remember a thing!
