Our Friends....

Thank you all for praying. Our friends did make it up here safely and back home again.

We just went to a wedding this past Friday, and it was beautiful! They went through a courtship and shared their first kiss at the altar. It was so precious to watch the bride walk down the isle, because her eye's were "fixed" on her man! They are now going on a month long honeymoon to Arizona. The groom already built their house so now they can enjoy it together.

Prayer..........

We are having some friends come up to visit us from Wisconsin today. Please pray that they get here safely. It's going to be the coldest January weather we've had so far. 30-35 BELLOW 0!!! Last time they were here their van wouldn't start. So, just pray that we have a good, godly visit and that they get here and home safely. Thank you so very much.

Bridal Shower..........

Tonight my mom, my sister and I are going to a bridal shower at our church. One of our friends, Joy, is getting married next Friday. And the other, Lydia, is getting married in Febuary. Lydia courted for 7 months from beginning to wedding and Joy courted 2 monthes from beginning to wedding. Her's was quiet short! I know them both quiet well and they are both so happy. It's just kinda "weird" to think of one of my close friends to be getting married and will have children soon!!

Gospel chapter.....

"You are writing a Gospel, a chapter a day,
By deeds that you do, by words that you say.
Men read what you write, whether faithless or true;
Say, what is the Gospel according to you?"

Kelli.....

Yesterday my oldest sister turned 21! I can't believe it. It doesn't even seem that she could be that old. Tonight we are going to play some games with her and make a special dinner. It should be a lot of fun. I will post a picture when I can.

Sewing Project.....

My sister and I are going to make matching aprons. We are not the best sewers yet, but we're working on it. My Mom has one in the same material so, we will all be matching! I will post pictures of it when it's done.

Early morning beauty....

I took this picture (outside our front window) not to long ago after reading my Bible. I thought how can someone look at this and say that God didn't do this, and it happend by "chance". When I look at this, I think wow, this is just a small part of God's handiwork!

Being a blessing....

Yesterday our neighbor called. She said that her husband had just had hernia surgery. She also said that she had laryngitis. So we told her that we would pray for them. During prayer, we felt the Lord wanted us to  make them dinner. My Mom called her back and told her what we were going to do. She informed us that no one had ever done that for her and her family. When we brought over the meal, she cried. We made them two baked chickens, garlic baby red potatoes, corn, a fresh loaf of wheat bread and some butterscotch brownies. Needless to say they were very grateful. It made me feel so good to see that we were a blessing to them.
