What a wonderful Day

Its such a wonderful day here in Florida. Nice and cool but I am sure it will be hot by the time noon gets here.  I am sitting here wishing I had about 3 women to help me pack up this place. LOL. We are trying to pack and declutter.  What a mess but we wont have half as much stuff when I am done for sure.

We are excited to get moved. Even though we wont have the money for animals for a while. The Lord will provide. We are really trying to figure out what to do and how. We will live in an RV for a while Maybe or stay in tents and build something quick and small to protect us from the weather etc.

I have to get some canning things. I am looking for the things we will need to survive and use on a daily basis to take with us.

I am also looking for any homeschool books for grade five and up to 9th.  I am interested in rod and staff, Mcgruffy, I am looking for a basic english program for my son who is dyslexic, as well as reading. I need to find test to test them for their grade levels.  I will need also history and science books for 5,6,7, 8 grade. If you have any you can part with please let me know.

God Bless

Gloria

2008-Jan-17 - simple life in TN

Posted by Anonymous

I stumbled onto your blog while trying to research mini jerseys. I read your blog, I felt like you are on the same journey as I am. My husband and I are on a quest for simple life too. We have been so busy with work that we have forgot how to enjoy life. We are now walking away from our lives with our children and the cloths on our back. We are ready to start over with the things that really matter to us (our family and and being self sufficiant). We are packing and looking for land too. We dont have a lot of money to spend but we are searching for the future site for our miniture pondarosa. We are wanting chickens goats and pigs. We are also pulling our daughter out of school next year to home school her. I just . . . I just felt inspired in reading that someone else has started a similar journey. Thanks for your blog. Ever want to compare notes my email. andreagll@aol.com
