Home Sweet Home ???

 If  "Home is where the heart is,"  then my home is ...SOMEWHERE, out there, but where??

 I long to have a small {5-10 acre} farm, with a few horses, and chickens, and maybe even a cow and goat or two !! Not to mention, a garden, for about 90% of our food !!!! An old "farm house" would be so nice. {Even one that needed a few minor repairs !!}

If, by some chance, anyone out  there knows of a place like that then please let me know, {It would have to be where they would let us rent to own and provided there was work around there for Roy !!} He is a VERY GOOD carpenter/handyman. He can build you a house from the ground up and takes pride in his work !! We are tired of renting and would love to raise our children in "our"  Home. Where we could remodel, add on, or just plain fix up, a Home of our own !! 

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for a place to live, it's just hard paying someone each month for a place that will never be ours !! We CAN fix up anything, {or even add on} to this place, but our landlord, {which by the way lives RIGHT beside of us!!} will not reimburse us for anything, so if and when, we move, it's theirs. And the electric bills!!!!!! In the summer months we pay anywhere from 200.00-300.00 and in the winter months it is 275.00-390.00 !!!! Talk about a waste of hard earned money ???!!!

So as I said...My heart and home is somewhere out there, have you seen them ??

I just posted something on this exact predicament. Just be a homestead girl right where you are and leave the rest to the Lord. He'll make your paths straight.
