The ~Christian Country Farm~

WE JUST GOT BACK FROM THE MOUNTAINS, YESTERDAY!!!

    Roy was off from work, from Wednesday till tomorrow {Monday} and things are not really going to well, with some things. Well anyways we have a membership {from my mom and dad YEARS ago!}   at Green Mountain Resort {GMR} in Lenior,   {about 1 and a half hours away from us} so he wanted to go up there for a few days. We really had no money, he put $50.00 in our van {mind you that only gave us "almost" three-fourths of a tank of gas! Our van definitely uses the gas!!!}

     Anyways it's free for us to stay just our gas and food, so guess what we had for 3 days??? Roy bought ham, roast beef, cheese, mayo, bread, ravioli, and also 6 Whoppers at Burger King {2 for $3.00}. For drinks he bought Apple juice, chocolate milk, Sprite and Ginger Ale {and water, cause their water at GMR is AWFUL!!!!!!!!! LOL} And that is what our meals were consisted of !!! LOL

    But it was sure peaceful there and Jasmine got so much of swimming that she actually said last night after we got home, "Boy, Mama, I sure am glad we're home from the mountains." LOL! LOL! She must of swam about 4-6 hours each day!!! She LOVES to swim, but I think, even "SHE" got her feel of it! {At least for a day or two!!! LOL}

    I got a little bit of some reading done there! I brought some Library books along with us, "The Pioneers" and "Kids in Pioneer Times", {and a few NGJ magazines, too} I learned alot of different things and I'm going to end this post and start another one and share the information I learned in these books !!! I just loved it !!! It sure gave me a longing even more for that era !!!
