New Monday Morning!

Hi all!  Well, I got my Fridge yesterday, I am so excited!  I put everything into the new so nice and neat... now if only it would stay that way!  Thanks to you all for the info on Soap making, I really appreciate it!  This site and all of you have really gotten me ready to make some changes toward a Simpler life, thanks a million!  My hubby said yesterday about the soap making, "Just be careful, and it really stinks!"  His mom used to make their own soap when he was a little one :o)  So I will be calling on Mother-in-Law for some tips as well!  The bread baking yesterday didn't go to well, I was not into it so decided to wait, I had some running to do yesterday, visiting my Mother and Granma, so I will do it this week and maybe take a pic so you guys can rate how I did! LOL  My babies are off school today and I love them being home :*)  I can't wait until I can school at home!!!!  Ashley has a bit of a stuffy nose today, maybe we overdid sledding Saturday :o)  So I am glad she can be here and rest.

Only things on the to-do list for today.... Clean the kitchen and Bathroom, do a load of laundry, change our sheets, and work some on my quilt.... also while over my grandma's yesterday, she once again showed me how to Crochet... I am a lefthander, so she has to show me backwards, but she showed me so I intend to really practice it this time... I love having my Mamaw close to me, to show me things and talk to, the wisdom in that woman!!

OK, I am off to get busy on this list!  Have a blessed day!!!!!!!

Hello! So, tell me about your new fridge! What brand did you get? I got all my new appliances one and a half years ago all from Sears. My FIL had passed away and my hubby was his only child. So, we used the insurance money to buy all new appliances and furniture. Before that everything was very old and icky looking.

How old are your children? My younger ones are 8 and (almost) 10. Emma will be 10 on Thursday. Beka turned 8 on December 2.

My Grandma taught me how to crochet when I was a little girl. I am so glad that it was she who taught me. Always will be a wonderful memory. I still long to learn more stitches, though. I only know how to do single, double, triple and a shell stitch.

Well, have a super wonderful day, Miss Maggie! Hugs! ~Robin

P.S. Come see my quilt and quilt blocks on my blog. :) Do you have any interest in quilting?

I just remembered your daughter is 7 years old. When will she be 8 years old? Beka turned 8 on December 2nd. Of course, I already typed that. LOL I had a feeling they were close in age. :) ~ Robin
