Well, we have our first farm animal.  We got an Australian Sheperd (I'm almost certain that is what she is).  She is about 1.5 to 2 years old, she's had all her shots and has been fixed.  A friend got her last summer and put her with her goats, she said that she's too hyper for the goats and wanted to find a home for her.  We've been wanting a dog, but we just don't have the patience to start from a puppy.  We built a fence for her by our barn, and we built a dog house.  My friend brought her over to us last friday.  She's doing great so far.  She's great with my 8 yr old son, and she did wonderful with my 1.5 yr old grandson.  Saturday, my husband got on his 4 wheeler, and she hopped right up there with him and went riding, my  husband liked that.  Then, he put her in her pen, and was out shooting his gun, she didn't get the least bit scared.  He's really liking this dog LOL.  We're hoping this dog will make a great companion for our son.\
