The Way to Happiness

Spring cleaning...

This is my first post and I've had this blog for quite some time already! I love spring! Time to ready the garden for planting, start the seeds, prepare the flower bedsand most important...spring cleaning. This spring not only am I cleaning around the house, but also my soul. I have strayed from God and His plan for me but he has guided me back and He is so merciful!!!

I am trying to simplify my life and get rid of the clutter. It is not an easy task. My dream still remains the same...I would like to be self-sufficient, simple and have a Christ-centered life. Again, not an easy task at the moment. My family is not Christian and they are pretty much anti-religious, so there is no support there. Praise the Lord, I am in contact with like-minded believers, at least over the internet. Perhaps one day I will be one among them. I continue to pray.

Good job!
De-cluttering and simplifying your life is one of the best ways to de-stress your life. We've been working on it for almost a year and are close to just the basics:O)
As for being the only believer in your family...don't give up hope or the prayers. After many years, and a LOT of prayers..my husband was saved this past fall!!! Keep praying that the Lord will tug at their hearts and daily give them to Him.

I am trying to declutter my home too. I have way too much stuff but I don't know what to do with it. I think I will take a load to the Goodwill today.

Many of us have families that aren't saved.

All we can do is pray for them and leave the rest in the Lord's hands. Prayer is powerful!

And... as far as the "internet"... those using this blog service, and other online sites, ARE real people! So... friends in this "realm" are no less important!
