Tuesday Morning Thoughts

Life seems to get complicated when you least expect it and when are the busiest, ever wonder why that is?  That is the way it has been going around here the past several days but hopefully things are calming down now and life can get back to normal around here or at least that is what I am hoping for.

The warm weather is making all of the gardens wake up and get to the business of growing; the animals are up early and I can’t get outside soon enough in the morning to let the goats out into the pasture. We could take a lesson from the animals and nature to just slow down once in awhile and enjoy the day, taking in the sunshine and the wonder of how after a long cold winter the earth comes back to life.

I did some shopping over the weekend and was shocked, even though I shouldn’t be at the prices. I usually only shop once a month and from one month to the next it is shocking to see how high the price on virtually everything has gotten. I am grateful we made the move out here and decided to grow what we can and provide for ourselves and out family. I can not help but wonder how some folks are ever going to make it with prices so high and so many with limited resources.
