After a very chilly night last night 30° the sun I shinning this morning and after using all kinds of buckets, plastic and row covers it seems as if the garden has made it through the frost, thank goodness. While we probably would not go without if the garden were to fail, it makes a BIG difference in our grocery budget to have a productive garden and do all of the canning, drying and freezing that we do.
