Good Morning, it is a chilly but sunny Saturday morning here in central IL today. The warm temperatures of this past week are gone for a few days and cool weather has taken its place. My husband Jeff and I were supposed to spend the day cutting up dead fall trees in the timber today but it is way to wet for that. So I think we are going to head to Peoria today and make a Sam’s club run. I completed and inventory of the kitchen and house hold supplies over this past week and worked up a comprehensive list. With the costs of everything shy rocketing putting off a pantry stock up is only going to costs us more money later on, so we might as well get it over with.
Summer called last night and said she was starting to pack up the apartment to get ready for the move back to IL. I had to laugh as she said they had only lived in Boston for a year but they had accumulated a lot of “stuff.” It is a good thing they have reserved the biggest moving truck the company out there had. It’s going to be a lot of work getting it all packed and ready to move back here but I am so happy they are moving back to IL.
I worked on a set of curtains for the nursery yesterday and I am quiet pleased with the way they have turned out. I made them out of a Beatrix Potter print fabric and next up will be a light blue dust ruffle and bumper pad for the crib and a comforter made out of the same fabric I used for the curtains. I only hope she will be pleased when she sees the work we have done in the nursery. I am having so much fun fixing up the mobile home for them, and I think Jeff is just as excited to have them back home as we are.
