Outside My Window…. It is a cool and very cloudy day I can here the rumble of thunder off in the distance and the smell of rain in making its way into the room.

I am thinking… I ma glad we got the yard work done on Saturday and the we picked the peaches and pears again last night. The harvest is going very well this year.

I am thankful for…..The rain that is on the way, the abundant harvest this year, the progress my brother is making, my grandson Noah and all of my family.

 From the kitchen….. I can smell cinnamon and ginger that are cooing up in the pear sauce. I also have whole wheat bread rising for the week ahead.

I am wearing…. A pair of khaki shorts and a short sleeved sweat shirt, no shoes of course.

I am creating…… I am still hoping to get into the fabric sort to pick up batting and backing for 2 quilt tops I have completed, I really need to get those finished ASAP as Christmas sewing will be starting very soon.

I am going…. to go to get an MRI done on my spine tomorrow and other than delivering eggs on Thursday I don’t have to go any where the rest of the week!

 I am reading… Falcon Moon by Cassie Edwards

I am hoping…..that soon all of our medical problems will resolve themselves soon and that we can all enjoy the holiday season ahead.

I am hearing…..thunder and the rain beginning to fall

 Around the house….Canning is still going in high gear as we have pears, peaches, grapes and apples coming on strong.

 One of my favorite things is…. Rainy days, hot coffee and some down time.

 A Few Plans for the Rest of the Week.......MRI appointment on Tuesday afternoon, egg and soap deliveries on Thursday and that is just about it!
