Life goes on

It’s Sunday evening here and its pretty quiet as this household goes.  Summer is at her place with her husband, and my husband is watching drag racing on television. I love having my family and friends around but a quiet Sunday night is just what the doctor ordered after the past couple of weeks. Dad’s passing being so sudden did not give me any time to prepare and then the arrangements that had to be made and the ensuing mountain of paperwork to follow has been a lot to have to deal with all at once. But, god never gives us more than we can handle so I will make it through all of this somehow.

I am just trying to concentrate on the birth of our first grandchild coming up soon that makes me smile and know that even though we may loose loved ones, life truly does go on.

Grandchildren

Grandchildren are such a blessing. I have 2. Jeffie is 3.5 yrs old and Maddies is 2 yrs. Those grand-babies are such a light in our life. We love to her them say they lub us and to watch the discover new things. We do spoil them and let them do thing thing we never let our girls do, like play hockey in the house. Just to hold your grandchildren and see them with your children is such a blessing, you heart feels like it will burst. Enjoy them. God Bless, mj
