Broccoli Bread

This is a yummy recipe I received many years ago from a lady at the church I went to then. It's delicious with a bowl of hot soup, and also good for snacking during these Autumn months!
BROCCOLI BREAD
Take 2 loaves of frozen bread dough; thaw. Knead them together and spread out like for a pizza. Put a layer of sliced pepperoni, cooked broccoli (frozen is fine, just cook it first and drain well), and then provolone (or mozzarella or cheddar cheese is fine, too) down the center lengthwise.
Fold the outer thirds over the middle and twist the ends closed so the cheese doesn't run out. Take butter and rub on the top so it doesn't get hard.
Bake at 400 degrees F. until light brown.
Let set on a cooling rack for 5 minutes or so before slicing.
(Personal note: I like to make this into smaller sizes for individuals, kind of like fat bread sticks, and dunk them in pizza sauce for snacking!)
Enjoy!
Hugs,
Cynthia Robin
