Determination

Kelsie is the first of the kids that was insistent that she was going to be mobile.  We would put her on the floor and every movement was an attempt to get somewhere else.  She turned over early and before long she had mastered sitting up.  Then came crawling.  Shortly after learning to sit up she could get anywhere she wanted to...backwards.  {grin}  She could scoot with the best of them.  But she wanted to go forward.  Last week she figured it out and was even able to move her girth around to make it happen.  So at 7 months, she's officially a crawler!

After taking last week off from posting pictures, I have a few cute ones I want to share.  Kelsie was sitting on her play mat and discovered the buttons on her outfit.  It was so sweet watching her try and bend her head to look at them and balance her chubby self so she wouldn't fall backwards in the process. 


And then she took a break to play with Pooh and I got this really sweet shot. 
My kids sure have the eyes!!

Fabulous Friday

WOO HOO!  Today's title is a reflection of a product.  It's simply FABULOUS!!  I've wanted to buy one of these with each of my babies and never did.  I bought one this time because Kelsie still doesn't have any teeth.  It's FAAAAAABBULOUS!

More on Sean's hair

I've gotten a few emails (and one frantic phone call today) begging me not to cut off all of Sean's cute curls.  I want to assure you all that if he TRULY had those curls, I would not do it.  The previous picture is what he looks like still fresh from a bath...wet hair and all.  This is what it looks like after it has dried.  He's still adorable, but the shaggy hair is a bit much.

Six Months old (already!)

It's hard to believe that Kelsie is six months old now!  She was hamming it up at dinner the other night and I was able to grab some great pictures.  We go to the doctor on Tuesday and I'll see how long she is now, but you can see she's tipping the scales at 24 lbs!

Party Pics!

We started with some Lego games.

I was very disappointed in the icing.  It was incredibly humid and the icing was separating before I could even get it on the cake.  They were delicious though!

Christopher was very excited that he could read his own cards this year!




This picture was too sweet.  The card that Andrew and I got for Christopher sang "You are my sunshine." when you opened it up.  Olivia exclaimed "I know that song!  I'll sing it to you!" and started singing to Christopher.  He's trying very hard to not be embarrassed, but I'm not sure he succeeded.  



And finally, they were well fed and hyped full of sugar and decided it was time for tackle basketball! 



Thank you to all of our guests for coming and Christopher loved all of his presents!  My mom was wanting a head count and we had 33 people here!  We had a blast and hope everyone else did too!

Happy Birthday Christopher!

I absolutely cannot believe that my "baby boy" is turning 7 today.  Where did the time go???  I'm very emotional for some reason today (I'm not normally too bad) and he's had to deal with a lot of mommy cuddles.  He's handling it like a champ though!!

Now that's tired

I'm always amazed at the positions that kids can sleep in.  There have been times that they have fallen asleep and it's been painful looking.  Kelsie fell asleep in her swing the other day and I was stunned she was able to sleep like this.
