For three months we live, breathe, walk and talk Passion. That is the production. I love that we've found by being involved in production through church that we live, breathe, walk and talk it all year round. Amazing...that's how it's SUPPOSED to be. Tuesday was our cast and crew wrap party and the final numbers were at 7,400 that came to see the Gospel being shared. On Sunday night we had to turn away approximately 180 people. I never imagined Sunday night would be our biggest night. There were wonderful stories of things people heard, but my favorite was from one of the cast members. She was new to the church and SO glad that she had joined the Passion this year. It was a great way to get involved, but she found so much more. She reconnected with her Lord and Savior after a few years of feeling lost and like she didn't know where it was He wanted her. Now she said that she KNOWS and she loved spreading the Word so much through this week that she's looking into becoming a missionary. She's ON FIRE and it's awesome to see. In the past the church had a panel in the program that people could mark if they made a decision for Christ that night or not. This year they decided to do something different and not ask for that information. While it's encouraging to see those numbers. It's encouraging to see the turnout we had this year! There were only 4 nights this year and in the past we've done 6 shows at the high school. I feel like in the movie "Field of Dreams" when he hears "If you build it, they will come."
