We have some new babies!! They are just adorable. The black lambs name is Lacey and the white lambs name is Little Lulu. The girls just love them. The weather has been pretty the last couple of days. We had snow for 2 days then sunshine for 2 days and it looks like we are going to have rain for 2 days. We have been working in our garden some. So far all we have planted are onions and garlic. It needs to dry up some. You all have a nice day! |

I just love spring time!! We have had a few beautiful days and have been preparing out garden spot. I can't wait to get everything planted. I am still fairly new to tending goats and I hope to have new babies in June. She was supposed to have babies in April but that didn't take. So we tried again. Hopefully we'll get some in June. If not, we'll try again next year. She's not showing, but I was told that sometimes they don't show until the last 2 months. We have 3 baby bulls and still expecting 1 more baby. They are so cute. Merry Christmas to everyone!!!! I pray that everyone is having a great day. I sure am!! We started off the morning by letting the girls open their presents from us. Next we went to my mother-in -laws for breakfast and more presents. Then we will be going to my families for dinner at 2:00 and spend the day eating, opening presents and playing games. I am planning to enjoy every minute. Have a great Christmas!!! |

This time of year always makes me think of all I have to be thankful for. I have so much to be thankful for. This time last year, I had just been diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer with no chance of survival past 16 months to 3 years. Through God we found an excellent doctor who through Chemo and a special surgery has told me that there is a 64% chance of survival for 5 years. He feels that the cancer will never come back and I am believing that God has healed me. I have been feeling great and living life to its fullest. I don't want to miss out on anything. I am so looking forward to the holidays and spending special time with my husband of 17 years and my 2 girls. God has given me a new outlook on life. I love Him so much and thank Him for saving me and all the blessings He has given me. |

We had a lovely day. The weather was cold, but we still got to go out and play some. I have really enjoyed watching my girls play with their goats. My sister-in -law came over and we worked on some homemade Christmas gifts. We are working on snowman ornaments. She is very talented and I am not, so she is helping me with ideas. For supper we had a roast cooked in the crockpot with cream of mushroom over it, fried potatoes, and wheat rolls. |
