Thursday, I took Cameron to the bus stop, then did the dishes, made the bed, took all the halloween decorations down, put the Thanksgiving decorations up,dried the towels that my mom had washed the night before, and vacuumed. Then I picked Cameron up from the bus stop. He had gotten ANOTHER note from his teacher that he wasn't very good in school. I tried to talk to him about it, but he kicked me, so I made him sit on his bed. I would have told him to come out after about 15 minutes, but he screamed and threw a hissy fit, so I left him in there until the hissy fit was over. It lasted almost an hour. I also took away his video game priveleges again and he was not allowed to watch TV. For supper, I made my friend Matt's pork chop recipe, long grain and wild rice, green beans and French bread. Dave tried to give Cameron some medicine for his cough, but he wouldn't take it. Friday, I took Cameron to the bus stop, then I washed and hung a load of towels, made the bed and did the dishes. Then I took Emily to my mom and dad's house. I got called in to work early, so I went there. My mom called me while I was at work, and said that Cameron got in trouble in school AGAIN!!! This time he stepped on someone's hand. SO we took away his video games for the whole weekend, as well as his movies. Also, I didn't make him cinnamon rolls on Saturday morning like I usually do and he wasn't allowed to go talk to the mail lady. For supper I made jambalaya. Saturday, I made French toast for breakfast. Cameron didn't eat his because he wanted cinnamon rolls, but he was being punished. I did a load of laundry, did the dishes, made the bed, and then I took Cameron to his room and held him and talked to him. We also sang some songs and read some stories. He wouldn't tell me WHY he's been bad in school lately, but I think he felt better after we talked. Then I gave the kids their baths. EMily had gotten a pumpkin in school, so I cooked that up and toasted the pumpkin seeds. After the pumpkin was cooked, I pureed it and froze it to use for baking later. For supper I made hot dogs for the kids and cheesesteaks for Dave and myself, and I made French fries. Sunday, I went and got Ang. Wes topped and got our newspapers and went to work. It was a very slow and boring day, but I enjoy those days. I don't like feeling rushed. After work, I cut out my coupons and made my list. Yesterday, my mom and I went shopping because she couldn't go today. First we went to CVS. They really didn't have any deals again, but we needed to use our EBs before they expired. I spent $12.46. I got 2 bags of Christmas M&Ms, 2 of the 8-packs of Ice Mountain aquapods (bottled water), a Milani nail polish, a Milani glimmer, a Milani eyeshadow and a bag of candy cane Hershey Kisses. I hid all the candy until Christmastime. Next we went to Wal-mart. I had a coupon for $1 off an 8-pack of Deer Park aquapods, so I got those, plus a bag of Andes Candies baking pieces and Andes Candies crunchy peppermint baking pieces. I am starting to stock up for my holiday baking. We had to go get my check cashed, then we went to Giant Eagle. I spent $57.05, which is way more than I had anticipated, so I need to watch my spending... I got 2 boxes of Holiday Ritz, 2 bottles of Juicy Juice, a box of Glucerna cereal, 6 boxes of Totino's pizza rolls, 2 loaves of bread, 2 tubes of Colgate toothpaste, a tub of whipped topping, 4 containers of Bisquick Shake and Pour pancake mix, a bag of boneless skinless chicken breasts, a box of Triscuits, a box of Wheat Thins, a pound of Land O Lakes butter, a Healthy Choce lunchmeat container, 12 cups of yogurt, 4 bags of Kraft Cheese crumbles, 2 packs of Oscar Mayer bologna, a bag of frozen chicken wings, a box of Barilla pasta, a jar of Barilla sauce, 2 1/2 gallons of milk, a bag of apples and a turkey. The turkey was 37 cents a pound if you spent $25 or more. I got $4.49 off my next order for the glucerna cereal, which was $4.49. I will send for a rebate making the Healthy Choice lunchmeat FREE. A lot of my stuff was just for stocking up, but quite honestly I am ALREADY stocked up. I don't need more stuff! So I told my mom NOT to let me buy a bunch of stuff anymore unless I NEED it or it's free. After we got home and I put my groceries away, I relaxed for a little while. then it was time to go get Cameron from the bus stop. So we all walked down to get him. He didn't have any notes from his teacher so we went to Pizza Hut for supper. He had a coupon for a free personal pan pizza because he read the required amount of books for last month. Dave wanted to watch the football game last night, and for some reason I just felt completely exhausted, so I fell asleep in my bed before 8:00! It felt really nice. In the mail this week I have gotten my Cookie Cutter Collector Club cutter, 4 magazines, a book that I got with my survey points, my Refund Cents t-shirt I had ordered, some address labels, some gospel CDs, a DVD, a sample of Dunkin Donuts coffee and the cookbook I ordered. The cookbook was ordered through Google checkout, and it was my first time doing it there, so I got $10 off my order. Including shipping, I ended up paying $4 for the cookbook! <- Last Page | Next Page -> |
