pizza sauce

My mom and I made this on Saturday, and we had a good time.  This is the best pizza sauce!  We didn't use the exact measurements.  We added lots more garlic than it calls for.  Yum!

Pizza Sauce

8 qt. tomatoes

15 small onions

1 stalk celery

1 T. basil

1 T. oregano

1 clove garlic

6 sweet peppers

1/4 c. salt

1/2 c. sugar

1/2 c. oil

Cook all together 3 hrs.  Strain through mill.  Jar.  Seal and process 15 min.

Thank you for posting! I've been looking for a pizza sauce and spaghetti sauce recipe to can! Now I can mark one off my list!

May I ask how much sauce this made? What size jars did you can it in?
