I had a sort of productive day today. I did 1 load of laundry and hung it outside to dry (saving the cost of drying it in my dryer). Dave changed the oil in both vehicles. We had to go get the oil, and I got my paycheck cashed while we were out. I paid some extra on my loan. I stopped at the grocery store, and got 5 bottles of kids shampoo and 4 bottles of men's shampoo--my original total was $30, she scanned my savings card, it came down to $15 because they were buy 1 get 1 free, and then she scanned my coupons. My total was $1.14!!! 9 bottles of shampoo for less than the price of 1!! I got some shampoo samples in the mail today, too, so it was definitely the day for shampoo! The girl at the cash register said, "That was definitely the deal of the day!! I have never seen anyone get such a good deal before!" Yesterday while I was out working in the yard, I found a big root that I was having trouble digging out. I asked Cameron to go get his daddy for me, but somewhere along the way he forgot and started playing. I said, "Cameron Lee, I told you to go get your daddy!" He said, "I am, Mama. I very, very am." Today, 1 of my shirts blew off the clothesline. Now, I had a lot of Dave's workshirts hanging out there, and 1 shirt of mine (a very nice one, I might add). MY shirt was the one that blew off the line, of course, and Cameron TRIED to help me by picking it up and bringing it to me, but he had been helping Dave, so he got a greasy fingerprint on it, then he drug it through the grass and stepped on it twice, getting grass, leaves and dirty footprints on it. It is POURING outside right now! Thank God it was nice enough earlier to let me hang my laundry and sit on the porch with a book and enjoy the weather! It was pretty windy, which let the clothes dry very fast. I still need to make my shopping list, and supper. We are having breakfast for supper--bacon, eggs and toast. |

I know he was trying to help, though, so I said "Thank you, baby." and put it back in the hamper.
That's what Dave had wanted for breakfast, but sometimes (most of the time) I am not a morning person.
