It was so nice here today.  It is a bit cloudy now, but it isn't supposed to rain until later.  I hope it doesn't, anyway, because I have towels on my clothesline.  I did 2 loads of laundry and hung them out today, and I worked in 1 of my gardens.  I got my onions planted.  When we moved here, the lady that lived here before us loved flowers, and she had 6 or 7 flower beds around the yard.  I would rather have vegetables so I am working on making them into my gardens.  I had 2 last year, I think I am going to try for 3 this year.  It is too much work to get them all ready in 1 year.  There is grass growing in them as well as the flowers that she had planted.  I might possibly clean my bathroom today, because I am done outside until the towels are dry.

I had a pretty nice birthday yesterday.  My mom made me a cake and her and my dad gave me some money.  My co-workers all got together and got me a gift card for the grocery store.  My mother-in-law got me some really nice hand cream and a little shamrock garden.  I love anything green. 

Dave took the day off today.  He had 2 deferred holidays to use up before the end of April, so he used 1 of them today.  He worked out in the yard today.  He raked up a lot of leaves.  I think the kids enjoyed finally being able to play outside.  Cameron rode his little tractor around until the battery died, and Emily tried to help me in the garden, but she really just made things hard.  I know she wanted to help, but she dumped all my onion sets, and then she opened and spilled my onion seeds.  I couldn't find most of them.  Then she put back all the rocks that I had taken out. 

My brother and his wife and son are coming up tonight!  They live in Virginia, so I don't get to see them very often.
