pork cabbage sautePosted at 10:50 AM on Friday, December 22, 2006
Lisa asked me for this recipe, so I'm posting it here for everyone to see
Pork Cabbage Saute 1 pound boneless pork loin, cut into 2-inch strips 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/2 medium head cabbage, shredded 1 medium onion, thinly sliced 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic 2 bay leaves 2 tablespoons butter 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper
In a large skillet, cook and stir the pork in olive oil over medium heat until no longer pink; remove and keep warm. In the same skillet, saute the cabbage, onion, garlic and bay leaves int he butter until vegetables are tender. Discard bay leaves. Stir in the pork, salt and pepper. Serve with rice. I had some carrots in the fridge, so I grated them and put them in with the rest of the veggies. YUMMYPosted by Billyhomesteader at 06:10 PM on Friday, December 22, 2006
