I got this from Theresa's blog, and I thought it was a really neat idea. It is 30 things I am thankful for.
- God. I know everyone always says that, but I am really thankful for God's love.
- Dave. Dave is always there for me, no matter what, and I know he loves me.
- Cameron. Cameron is so sweet, and I love to cuddle in bed with him. He has a sweet smile, and I love the smell of his hair. One hug from him can brighten my day.
- Emily. Emily is my silly girl, and she always makes me laugh. I love to kiss her cheeks and feel her soft skin. She can make me smile no matter how I feel.
- My mom. My mom is always there for me, helping me out when I need it. Sometimes I come home from work exhausted, and find that my dishes or some of my laundry is done. She watches my kids 3 days a week, and she is a good grandma.
- My dad. My dad is a good pap, and he loves to spend time with my kids. He can also fix anything.
- My mother-in-law. She is always willing to help out if I need her, and she always shares things with me.
- My brother. He always has good advice when I need it, and he always talks sense into me.
- My sister-in-law. She is always there for me. She also likes shopping in my stockpile! LOL
- My friends. I have very, very few friends, and a hard time trusting people. So if you are reading this and you are my true friend, I thank you.
- The internet. I have learned so much on the internet, especially about saving money. I also get a lot of good recipes online, and a lot of freebies and instant wins.
- My job. As much as I don't like my job, it does help pay the bills.
- The USA. I may not like living in Pennsylvania, but I still live in the USA, and I have a lot of freedoms that people in other countries don't.
- Coupons. Sounds like a weird thing to be thankful for, I know. But they have helped save my family so much money.
- My blog. I have met a lot of new people and learned a lot of new things through blogging. It is also a good outlet if I need to vent.
- Food. I always have plenty to eat, and I am learning how to garden and can.
- Shelter. Even though I am not too fond of where I live, I have a roof over my head and a family to come home to.
- My car. I am scared of driving, but I have a car to take me where I want to go. I don't have to walk or hitchhike or wait for someone to take me.
- Clothes. I have warm clothes and I have the freedom to wear what I want.
- Sunny days. Sunny days make me want to smile.
- Hot showers. Hot showers always help me relax after a hard day at work.
- Reading material. I have plenty of books and magazines, so I will never get bored!!
- My messy house. I do try to keep it clean, but it always seems to un-clean itself. That is fine with me, because it means that my kids are healthy and able to play with their toys.
- Memories. I have a lot of good childhood memories, and a lot of the people in them are no longer here with me. But my memories will keep them alive forever.
- Max. Believe it or not, chinchillas are very good listeners.
- My dreams. My biggest dream is to stay home with my kids, and that dream makes me work harder to save money so it will happen.
- Chocolate. I think that one is pretty self-explanatory.
- Holidays. I get a day off work AND I get to spend time with my family.
- Neighbors. I don't get to talk to my neighbors very often, but all of them are very nice. We have the only small kids on our street, and the neighbors just love them.
- NICE customers. I get my share of rude customers, but there are some very nice ones that make my day.
