Last Saturday night was our 6th anniversary. Dave's mom came over to watch the kids, and she told us to take our time and have fun. We went to the movies. We saw The Departed. It was good, but the ending was strange. And there were a lot of unanswered questions for me. I tend to over-analyze things, but there was an envelope and I kept wondering what was in it, and IT NEVER GOT OPENED!!!!!!! I have been geting a few good things in the mail, but not as many as usual. I got 3 books, a cranberry recipe booklet, 3 magazines, a Bigelow tea sample and a religious booklet. Yesterday was Cameron's Halloween party for school. Emily was invited too, so they both dressed up. There were a lot of activities for them to do. They played pin the nose on the pumpkin, fished for apples, made a lollipop ghost, made a paper jack-o-lantern... Cameron came home with lots of treat bags, too. It was fun. After the party was over, Cameron went up to his classroom, and Dave and I took Emily in town. We got gas in his truck. There is a new Get Go station here, and I earn points with my Giant Eagle card. I get 10 cents off per gallon for every $50 I spend at the grocery store (which really takes a while for me). I had 60 cents off per gallon, so we filled his truck up. It saved us $10! We looked around at Dick's Sporting Goods a little while, and we still had some time to kill so we went to Burger King. Cameron was so excited when he was done in school, because he got to bring home a farmer's hat. They had farm month in October. November will be dinosaur month. WHen my mom got home (she was in North Carolina), she called and we went shopping. We went to CVS, but they were out of most of the deals. I got a Schick Quattro Titanium razor for in Dave's stocking. It was $8.99, and I had a $3 off coupon, and I will get $6 back for it. I also got a clearance item and used a coupon for it! |

I had free tickets, so we didn't pay to get in, but a medium popcorn and 2 drinks was $10!!!
Then we went to the Olive Garden. They gave us a free sample of some wine, and it was SO good--it was Summit House White Zinfandel. I am not a big drinker, but that was good wine!
Dave had the Tour of Italy, and I had eggplant parmesan.
We shared a dessert--black tie mousse cake. It was SOOOO good. Olive Gardenis across the street from CVS, so Dave took me there. LOL. I got 8 pump bottles of Purell hand sanitizer, 3 bottles of Samy shampoo/conditioner, an Almay face soap and a clearance makeup kit, and my total was $3.05. We really had a nice time together.
That lady was there, but she didn't wait on me. She made a point of saying hello to us, though.
