Wishful Homesteader

I didn't get as much done today as I had planned, partly due to the fact that I slept longer than I wanted to this morning.  I got up and got dressed, got the kids some breakfast, put in a load of laundry and went outside and watered my garden.  I hung the towels up when the washer was done, then I put in a load of dark clothes and gave the kids a bath.  I got them dressed, and we went outside and got the mail, then I did the dishes and hung out the dark clothes.  I put in a load of light clothes, and took down the towels and folded them.  I cut my peppers and froze them.  I cuddled Emily a little because she was upset about something, and we sang some songs.  I sat down and sang and talked to Cameron then, too.  I wanted to clean up Emily's room a little bit, but Dave came home early, and for whatever reason, I don't like doing housework when he is home.  I did clean up the bathroom a little bit, but I didn't worry too much about it; I just cleaned what I could see was dirty.

My mom got me a bookshelf at a yard sale, so I could ut my cookbooks on it and have more room for my other books on my big bookshelf.  But I don't know where to put this new bookshelf.  There really isn't much room for it.  I wanted to put it in the room where my cookie cutter are, but it needs organized first.

She also got Emily a little wicker chair for her bedroom, but she doesn't want it in her bedroom.  She insisted on keeping it in the living room, where she already has a chair.  Maybe after she's asleep some night, I'll put it in her room.  She probably wouldn't even notice.

In the mail yesterday and today, I got 8 stamps from a coupon trade I did, a $10 coupon for J.C. Penney and a cat food sample.  I don't have a cat, but my friend Patty does, so I think I'll give it to her.
