I feel like the past few days have just flown past, and I haven't even had much time to update.  I had an EXCELLENT shopping trip on Tuesday, and I haven't even posted about that yet!!!!!!

The other night, when I made dessert, Cameron kept bugging us for some all through supper.  Dave kept telling him he had to eat, but every time he took a bite, he would say, "Can I have some brownies now?"  Dave finally did get him to eat 2 servings of his supper, but he kept asking.  So, finally, when I went to get the brownies, Dave told him he had to put his hands on his head or he wouldn't get any.  He was just picking on him, and Cameron figured that out pretty quickly, so he'd take hishands down, and Dave would tell him to put them back up there.  He said, "If your hands aren't on your head when Mommy brings your brownie out, you're not getting it."  I looked over at Emily, and her hands were on her head, and they weren't moving.  I think she'd had them there the whole time!  I started laughing, and then Dave started laughing, and she got all embarrassed and hid her face.

I got Emily a little bathing suit at work for $4.  Cameron already had some swimming trunks my mom got him at a yard sale.  I got them a little pool, and a beach ball!

The produce man gave me a cantaloupe that was getting kind of soft.  I really don't care for cantaloupe, but I thought Emily would like it, because she loves fruit.  But she took 1 bite, and wanted to wash her hands.  I guess she didn't like it!

I weeded all day on Monday, and my neighbor came over to talk to me.  She's really nice, and we had a nice little talk.  She came back over a little later, and she had brought us each a piece of cake for dessert.  I washed her container, so now I'll have to make something to put in it to give it back to her!

I have gotten some good things in the mail the past few days.  I got a free pouch of Tyson chicken, 9 stamps plus some rebate forms from a trade I did, a free book, a sample of those Post-It index cards, a magazine, the sale paper, some Pampers coupons and some medical DVDs.

Now for my SHOPPING TRIP!!!!!  I get so excited, because I'm getting better and better at this!  My mom and I went shopping without the kids on Tuesday, which is a treat for us.  My mom came and got me, and we went out for breakfast.  We went to Eat N' Park for the breakfast buffet.  The we headed to the mall.  We went to J.C. Penney, because we both had coupons for $10 off any order.  We both got jewelry for ourselves that came to $11.25, so with the tax, we each paid $1.33!  It was on sale to begin with, then we got it for almost nothing with our coupons!  Then we went to Eckerd, andmy mom got a few things, but I really made out!  They had a deal on Olay skin care.  It was on sale, and there were Eckerd store coupons in the flyer for $2 off 1, $5 off 2, and $10 off 3.  I used all 3 coupons at the same time, so it was $16 off of 6.  Since they were store coupons, you can use manufacturer's coupons ALSO, and I had coupons for $1 off 1 and $3 off 2.  So I got 6 items, handed her all of my coupons, and I got almost $30 worth of skin care products for $2.69!!  Then we went to my work, where I didn't find anything I needed, but I had a lot of fun telling people about my good deals.  The grocery store was the next stop, and I spent $31 there.  I got a bag of frozencorn, a candy bar, some peaches, a bag of grapes, a pack of Pull-Ups, a bottle of barbecue sauce, a box of graham crackers, a pack of rice, 5  2-liters of Coke, a loaf of bread, a container of cool whip, 8 tubes of toothpaste, 3 packs of Dole fruit parfaits, 4 Chef Boyardee microwaveable bowls (Dave likes them), 2 jars of applesauce, a pack of sliced cheese, 3 gallons of milk, and a pack of ground beef.  The Cokes were all free, and so was the candy bar.  AND all the toothpaste and the Chef Boyardee, the barbecue sauce, and the rice.  The bag of corn was 30 cents.  The graham crackers were 78 cents.  The fruit cups were 50 cents a pack.  Most of what I paid for was my meat, produce, Pull-Ups and milk!  I got the applesauce for 45 cents a jar, and I will be getting a free Wiggles CD for the kids for buying 2!  Dave never gets excited about my deals, though.  When I got home, Emily was sleeping and Cameron was playing.  He wanted to go to Wal-Mart (the blue cookie stoe--because it's blue and they always give him a cookie) to get a lunchbox.  He's starting preschool in the fall, and I mentioned a lunchbox once, and he's been bugging me to get one ever since.  So Dave and I took the kids in town.  Cameron picked out a lunchbox with a car on it, and Emily wanted a hot pink one, so we went to the sporting goods section and found a hot pink cooler.  She loved it, and carried it around the store.  I got a bag of chicken and some little cakes for the strawberries my mom and I got (we stopped at a little place on the way home).  Dave got some sandpaper.  We really didn't get any deals there except the chicken, which is 42 cents a pound.  Then Cameron asked for donuts.  Krispy Kreme is right there, but Dave likes Dunkin' Donuts, which just happens to be across the street from Eckerd, so I talked him into letting me go in 1 more time.  I went in by myself, coupons all ready (I had been getting them ready on the way there), and I had enough to get 4 items.  I went in, grabbed a flyer, ripped out the $2 off 1 coupon and the $5 off 2 coupon, and got my stuff.  I had my manufacturer's coupons, too, and there was a lady in that aisle watching what I was doing.  She sked me why I was buying so much Olay, and when I told her this was my second trip in and that it was a great deal, she followed me into the line!  She wasn't rady to check out yet, she just wanted to see exactly what I did so she could do it!  My favorite cashier was there that time, too!  I got 4 things, and before coupons it came to $19, and I paid $1.44!!  The cashier was excited that time, and she wanted to dothe deal too!  The first time I was there with my mom, I offered my cashier some of my coupons, and she didn't want them.  he looked at me like I was nuts!  I'm glad now, because I got to go back and do it again.  I don't know why I bother saving somuch money, though, because we end up ruining it with trips to Wal-mart and Dunkin' Donuts.  Well, we needed the stuff we got at Wal-Mart, so that's ok.  But we certainly don't need the donuts.

When we pulled in to Dunkin' Donuts, Dave and Cameron decided to go in alone.  Dave told Cameron that he could get a donut if he told the cashier that he liked Krispy Kreme donuts.  Cameron said, "Christmas tree donuts?"
