kitchen quiz

Everyone has been putting these on their blogs. It is really neat, so I decided to do it too. 1. How many meals does most of your family eat at home each week?
Almost all of them. On occasion, we will go out to eat, and Dave and I pack our lunch for work, but most of the time I cook here.
2. How many cookbooks do you own? At LEAST 30, plus binders with recipes written in them, loose recipes, etc.
3. When you cook, do you follow the recipe pretty closely, or do you use recipes primarily to give you ideas? I follow it pretty closely the first time, but after that, I play around.
4. What's your favorite kitchen task related to meal planning and preparation? (eating the finished product does not count) grocery shopping!
5. Do you plan menus before you shop? No.
 I always mean to, but I never do.6. What are your three favorite kitchen tools or appliances?
1. my mixer 2. my roaster 3. My knives 7. If you could buy one new thing for your kitchen, money was no object, and space not an issue, what would you most like to have? a grain mill
8. Since money and space probably are objects, what are you most likely to buy next? a cookie sheet
 9. Do you have a separate freezer for storage? Yes
10. Grocery shop alone or with others? with my mom, and most of the time the kids.
11. How many meatless main dish meals do you fix in a week? Rarely.
12. If you have a decorating theme in your kitchen, what is it? Favorite kitchen colors? There is no theme in my kitchen. It is yellow, but it was like that when we moved here. I would like to paint it a coral color. If I had a theme, it would be country.
13. What's the first thing you ever learned to cook, and how old were you? I didn't learn to cook until I took home ec when I was 13.
