I had to work all day today, so not much got done here.  I watered the garden and pulled a few stray weeds before I went to work this morning.  My mom came, and she got me this really cool weeder thing.  You push it in the weed, and twist and it pulls the whole weed out, root and all.  Since I still have TONS more weeding to do, it will be a great help.  Dave tested it already, and he said it works pretty good.  You can stand up to use it, which is what I like about it.  I'll still have to bend over and kneel for some things, but not as much!

When I got home from work, Dave had supper started and the dishes done.  He made spaghetti.

My friend Steve gave me a pretty big box of cauliflower that was starting to get spotty.  I'm going to cut off the spots , blanche and freeze it.  I can use it in soups and casseroles.  I love free food!

It was a pretty good mail day, too.  I got a coupon for 5 free 2-liters of Coke from an instant win, a 5x7 photo from another instant win...  Ok, so it wasn't all that exciting.  But 5 free 2-liters is a good thing, especially with a birthday coming up in July....  If they send all that I won, I should be getting 2 more of those coupons.
