It was a pretty hot and humid day here today. We didn't do much. I made macaroni salad, and Dave did hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. I had gotten a little bit of potato salad and pasta salad at the grocery store last night, and we had some potato chips, too. I did 1 load of towels and hung them on the line. I'm sure they were probably dry in 20 minutes. I watered my garden in the morning, and in the evening. I also gave the kids a bath. We played outside a lot today. I took my book out with me. Dave cleaned up in the garage a little bit. He found an old cage that wasn't ours, so he was going to put it out for the garbage man. He set it up and walked away, and the kids crawled in it and were barking at us. I just got done sorting out my expired coupons and making my shopping list. It's not very long today, but I think I will be spending a little more money than I want to. That's because I'll have to buy Emily Pull-Ups. I am finally at the end of that huge pack I bought weeks ago. I liked not having to buy them all the time. If I could just get her to go to the potty, I'd be fine. Cameron still wears Pull-Ups at night, and if he wakes up dry, I make him wear them a second night. But he's trained during the day. She always wants to go potty, but as soon as you sit her on there, she says she's done. She never even gives herself time to do anything. She gets up and says, "Emmy's a good girl."

It was hilarious. I took lots of pictures. Dave also brought a lot of his old Army clothes home from his mom's house, and he was going through them. Cameron walked around with an Army hat on, and Dave painted his face with that camo stuff. He thought he was pretty cool!
