It was a pretty rainy day today, but we sure needed it.  I have been working the past 3 days, so not much has gotten done here.  My mom did a loa of my laundry yesterday and hung it out.  I have been watering my garden.  I did get the dishes done.  That's about it.  We had hamburgers for supper.  Dave took tomorrow off work, so I don't have to have any leftovers to send along with him for lunch.  Tomorrow is Dave's birthday.  He will be 33.

My mom, the yard sale queen, got me a bunch of cookie cutters at a yard sale today.  I had some of them, but not all of them.  She also got the kids a game, and some clothes, and coloring books.

My friend Steve is the produce vendor where I work, and he gave me some free cauliflower yesterday.  He took it off the display because it was starting to get brown spots on it.  I brought it home and made it right away, and it was pretty good!  He said he won't throw any away until I've had a chance to go through it.  I hope I get lots, so I can freeze it!  That will really cut down on my food bill!!!!  The TastyKake vendor gave me a box of chocolate cupcakes yesterday, too.  If the stuff is going to expire before he comes in again, he pulls it and gives it to us.

I've had a pretty good few days for mail.  I got a free full-size bottle of Almay moisturizer, Nexxus shampoo and conditioner samples, 6 stamps that I traded coupons for, and a magazine.  I also got a lot of junk mail and some bills.  Oh, well.  We'll have this.  i guess you have to take the bad with the good.
