It was another busy day here!  I'm glad, but my days off always seem to go so fast.  When I got up this morning, Cameron and Dave were up, but Emily was still sleeping.  I made corned beef hash, eggs and toast.  When Emily woke up, she wanted cereal.  Cameron was in the living room, and she yelled, "I awake!  Cameron--I awake!"  And he said, "Good job, Emmy."  Then they were looking out the window, and it was kind of cloudy out, and windy.  The clouds kept moving and Cameron said, "Look, Mama, the clouds are painting a picture for me!"

Dave and his friends pretty much got the garage roof finished today.  Dave still has a few small things to do to it, but it shouldn't take long.  While they were out there working, I did 2 loads of laundry.  I had to throw them in the dryer again because of the guys working so close to the clothesline.  After they were done, I wanted to go to Wal-Mart to get Dave a new pair of work shoes.  He said that this morning, he had been looking at the Sears ad, and they had an air compressor the same price as the one we got last week, but this one was a lot bigger.  He had already thrown the box away, though, and he used the compressor.  I told him to call, because maybe that one went on sale, too, and they could adjust the price or something.  So he called in, and they told him that as long as he had his reciept and paperwork, he could still return it.  He explained to them that he used it, and he no longer had the box.  They said that was ok, and we took it in and got the bigger one.  We went to Denny's for lunch.  I was going to make lunch at home, but he was afraid that if we didn't hurry up and get to Sears, the person he talked to wouldn't be there, and he wouldn't be able to do the exchange.  After we ate, we went to Wal-Mart, and Dave got a pair of work shoes and we got an ink cartridge for the printer.

We came home, and Dave mowed the lawn and I weeded.  My mom was going to come over this morning so we could plant some things, but my dad said there was supposed to be a frost tonight, so we waited.  So I went out and weeded so that would be 1 less thing for us to do tomorrow.  Emily "helped" me.  She pretty much just moved the dirt around, but she thought she was helping, so that's all that counts.  Camron rode on the lawn mower with Dave.

Emily got tired and wanted to come in, so I sat down and made my shopping list.  I had cut my coupons earlier while the laundry was in the washing machine.  Martin's was doing triple coupons, so I had Dave take me in there. I don't like to drive, so if I have to go anywhere besides work, I get Dave to take me.  I spent $27, which was more than I had planned on, but I got 2 of the 24-packs of Pepsi, a 6-pack of Pepsi bottles, 4 boxes of cereal, 2 packs of hot dogs, 2 packs of lunch meat, some English muffins, 2 bottles of barbecue sauce, 2 boxes of frozen pretzels, 6 boxes of popsicles, some sour cream...I can't remember anything else, so I think that's all.  I always spend more there than I want to, or think I'm going to, and at the Giant Eagle, I always spend less than I think.  I don't go to Martin's very often.  Only when they are doing triple coupons or they have a REALLY good deal on something.  Oh, well, I save plenty of money for us, so it's ok to spend a little more once in a great while.
