It is late once again.  Not too much got done here by me the past 2 days because of work.  I made gorditas last night for supper, but they were from a kit.  Tonight, I made ham and homemade macaroni and cheese.  Cameron threw a fit because he wanted mashed potatoes and chicken, but I told him that if didn't at least taste it, he wouldn't get a bath.  They both cleaned their plates, so after their bath, I made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.  They were from a mix, because it was kind of late.  I HATE making things from mixes, but I keep them on hand, usually because they're almost free after my coupons.  They do come in handy once in a while.

Yesterday on my lunch break, I went to Dollar General.  I had 2 coupons for $1 off ANY size Suave lotion.  I picked out 2 of the tubes of lotion that were $1 each.  The cashiers were so confused because #1 the picture on the coupon was of a pump bottle, and I picked out a tube, even though it said ANY size, and #2 because I was getting them free.  I told them that I get things free there all the time, but my usual cashier wasn't there.  It took 3 of them to figure out how to do it, and if I could do that or not.  Finally they came to the conclusion that I could, since it said ANY size.  So what should have been a 5-minute trip was almost 20 minutes.

I was really proud of myself yesterday at work--I didn't buy 1 thing.  Today, on the other hand, was a different story.  I found a plastic drawer set for $5.  I still need a bunch more of these for my cookie cutter collection, but I can wait until we get them at work.  They are usually half price or less.  I also got Dave a dressy shirt for $2.  Itis black plaid, and I like it a lot.

Every day that I have come home from work this week, and 1 or 2 days last week, there has been a lot of toilet paper in the garbage can, on the floor, or in the toilet.  I'm not sure which one of the kids is doing this, but I cannot afford that much waste.  A lot of milk is being thrown away too, because their cups sit around until they are chunky.  Yuck!!  Yes, I stockpile toilet paper, but not so they can unroll it all and throw it away.  And I'm really upset about the milk, because that is very expensive.  Plus, I don't want my kids drinking sour milk.  Blech!  I think they are going to have to start putting it in the fridge when it is not in use.  I usually don't give them a full cup, either.
