I had a pretty relaxed day. I thought about doing some laundry this morning, but then it looked like it was going to rain. It didn't. I'll check the weather for tomorrow. I'll have to do the laundry now whether it rains or not.
I made breakfast this morning. I made scrambled eggs with onions, green peppers and cheese. It probably would have been an omelet, but I can never get my eggs to stay in 1 piece. So it was scrambled eggs. I also made toast and we had some orange juice. Dave had coffee.
We went to get my paycheck cashed today, then we went and got some bottled water (our tap water is really nasty ). You can get it near the bottling plant here. Then we went to Sears so Dave could pay on his card. We looked around for a little bit, then we went to Lowe's. We needed a new doorknob for our laundry room door, as it was getting very hard to turn. We found one for a little less than $8, and Dave put it in pretty fast. I made hot dogs and tater tots for lunch. Right now, we're kind of having a do-it-yourself supper. Dave is having a hot pocket, Emily is eating cereal, and I might have some crackers and dip, but I'm not sure yet. Cameron is sleeping on the couch.
He kept us up all night crying. At first I thought he had a bad dream, but he kept crying. Dave thought he felt warm, so I took his temperature and it was normal. We gave him a little bit of children's Advil, anyway, just in case, plus it helped him sleep. We asked him a few times what was wrong, but he just kept saying, "Leave me alone!" I get like that too when I don't feel good. This morning when he woke up, he was sneezing and had a runny nose, so I'm thinking it might have been sinus pressure. After lunch we gave him some children's Tylenol plus sinus, and that seemed to help. He didn't seem to be wiping his nose as much. Plus he took a nap. He doesn't usually do that. I'm sure he'll feel a lot better when he wakes up.
My mother-in-law and niece came over today. My niece's name is Kaylee. She's 4. We were all playing. I was a dinosaur and a horse. They all tried to ride on me, but I couldn't move very fast. That was probably 80 pounds or more of kid on me!! My mother-in-law brought me 2 dozen eggs. I guess that means Dave will be getting egg salad sandwiches in his lunch this week! I don't know what I'm going to do with them all, but it was very nice of her to bring them to me. She brought me brown eggs from her nephew's chickens, and green eggs from her sister's chickens. She has been bringing me the brown eggs for a few weeks now. I have had the green ones before too. Yummy!! I like the green ones the best. They don't taste any different, but they look really neat.
