We went to a lake just in the national forest area near here! What a beautiful area! I can't wait to spend more time exploring this area. We tried some fishing but unfortunately no bites. The lake level was down several feet so there was a large beach area which used to be underwater. There were lots of rocks, snail shells, clam shells, and other interesting things to find on the beach and throw in the water. We really enjoyed our time there and the weather was absolutely beautiful - cool and comfy! Here's some pics from our day!
