Mother said we need to wait awhile before we spring the question on Father. She said it is best if we have the money saved up first and that we will also need to remember we need to save money for fencing and feed. So we may need to wait till my Goat kids are born for us to have enough. It will be at least a hundred in fencing that we must add to the price. Well, we can talk about it tomorrow.

Sincerely,

~Mary-Ann~

My vote is a wait until spring before any kind of serious horse consideration occurs. Both of the fathers are under quite a bit of pressure right now, and we don't want to be anymore the cause of a snapping than we already are. :P

As far as ducks they are wonderful. Arya will take on the dog and eat the slugs in the garden after the chickens are locked out. She's a good quacker.

I think that ducks are really wonderful too. That is why we have so many. Oh, if Arya seems to get lonely we will be willing to give you another duck. That will make it out to be twelve Campbell ducks for us (Father wants me to down-size).

As far as the horse is concern, I agree we should wait until Spring (sorry Maddie). By Spring more people will have horses for sale and the price of food will cost less. Also, by that time Mel (the one who lent us the horse trailer) my have some horses to get rid of. He has been trying to talk Mother into letting him sell or give us girls a horse for as long as we have known him (about ten years).

We do need to wait til our Fathers are under less stress. I think if I asked my Father know he would sell all of my animals and then kill you and me.

Sincerely,

~Mary-Ann~

I agree! By spring we will have enough $ saved up for some horses and if Gail gives me Jasper then we just need to buy 2. I found a horse for Sarah. He's an Appi. gelding, 17, very good riding horse...........$700=] I'll print it out and give it to you at the wedding. Oh and its in Lebanon (Oregon).

Are you Poppy's/Mary-Ann's cousin?
Belle

Dear Belle,
Not by blood but we're very close like sisters. Or as Anne of Green Gables would say: we are very kindred spirits=]
