A Soupy Saturday
Ok...So we picked the most humid weekend to have our yard sale!!! It's been sooo soupy outside. I made alittle bit of money and spent it at the grocery store.
What we didn't sell, we were able to bless one of the customers...A single momma of 4 small children. She recently moved to the area with just the clothes on their backs. No furniture in the house she's renting...no beds, dressers, table, chairs, etc... Of the things she can't use, she'll make some money by having her own yard sale. I'm more than happy to be able to help someone. 7 1/2 years ago, I was in her shoes...Starting over. Arriving in a new place with just the clothes on our backs. God Provides!
Thursday, Little "A" and Baby "R" were here. It was a good day. Little "A" was ok ... no screaming, no fits, just happy!
I'm exhausted, so I am gonna go.
Hope ya'll enjoy the rest of the weekend.
In Him, Jill (the big sister)

I'm like you. I would rather give things to someone in need. It's nice to know it will be put to good use!

Bless you dear, for giving those items to that momma of 4 to use or sell!! What a wonderful gift she received today!!!!
We are the same way with the things we no longer need. We gave a slightly used couch away earlier this year when we were able to buy a new one. I could have made small change from it, but I wanted to give back to someone else, so I listed it on Freecycle and got several replies immediately. When we started off in marriage, we had an old couch given to us by my parents, and many other items as we were just starting off on our own, so we were more than happy to help this young couple out who came to get the couch.
God's Blessings,
Amy Jo
