Seeds, Icicles, Birds Oh My!

Hi everyone! I am so glad it is the weekend, aren't you? Well, today Laura and Pa found HUGE icicles! I am going to show you a few pictures of them...

This is the first one, isn't it BIG!!!!!

Here is the second one. It wasn't as big as the first, but it was neat!!!

Here is the first icicle next to a ruler. (Sorry about the towel, it was really wet.)

Also I wanted to show you this picture of a Cardinal, when I posted my cardinal pictures. I couldn't find this picture on the computer before, so here it is....

Last night Pa and Laura looked through all of our garden seeds. Some of them were really old, so Laura decided to feed them to the birds! They seem to really enjoy it! Here is a picture of the seed mix...

Cardinals

I just love the pictures of the iceicles and oh the Cardinal is just beautiful. I haven't been able to get a picture of ours. We have a brushtree that houses about 5 male cardinals and I have been trying to get pictures of them for awhile now. Maybe I will build a feeder just to put by their hang out and see if I can capture them then.
