The Start of a Homesteader Mom

The Decision to F.L.Y.

Well I have had all the FLYlady stuff printed out for ages. I thought about trying it once but I worked full time. If any of you have ever tried to do FLYlady while working full time it gets VERY Discouraging. I just don't think it is possible. From the 15-20 emails you get a day that you read and can't do anything about, to the lack of time... I really think it is pointless.

But I kept all my papers because I think it is a wonderful program. I got them out yesterday and read through them. Signed up again at their yahoo group/website Here.

There is so much on the site it can get overwelming but I am fairly familiar with the concept. So hopefully I can keep it all straight.

So yesterday I shined my sink. I then went to my moms for the day. I came home to dishes in it  and Justin on the couch. Oh no no no.... I have got to educate him here. NO dishes in my sink! Rinse - put in dishwasher - and wipe out my sink!  lol

I will keep you posted on how I am doing.

Anyone else a FLYbaby?

Hi Linda,

I also tried FlyLady with little success. I did like what she had to say though but, I've found this challenge that I'm enjoying very much.

Take a look:

Hello!
I have been a fluttering FlyBaby for about 3 years now.
The key is to remember you don't have to be perfect!
I just delete the email reminders, but I read the emails from FlyLady and Kelly because they are usually really encouraging. Once in awhile I'll read testimonials if I have time.
The biggest thing for me is getting rid of clutter and doing the daily missions. That alone will make a HUGE difference! I wish you Happy Flying!
