Last week we "dreamed" about our special place to blog! This week we are going to stretch some of that dream into reality. The purpose of this assignment is to learn to be content with our surroundings as God has provided and creatively make them a special place to preserve those heartfelt memories.
"If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures."

A) Look at your "dream" place last week and using your creative juices and things in or around you home, CREATE a special place to blog. Most good writers have a location that is a comfort to them and makes their writing time enjoyable and productive. Share some quick ideas!
My dream place last week was outside on my hammock next to the lake. Having a wireless laptop is a new thing for me and I enjoy the freedom that it gives. I'm so excited about being able to find more computer time because I don't have to schedule ahead of time with other family members in order to have a 'turn.' That way, I can write when the muse calls! That's why I've 'created' several special places for this week's assignment!
B) Once you have created that special place...share a picture of where you blog.
My cozy bedroom, which I call my, "Haven of Peace and Relaxation." Favorite eyelet pillows, soft music on the cd player, Mrs. Giraffe and a scented candle - along with the soothing colors in the room (soft greens, blues and white) make a very cozy spot!

In the Hut, where there are so many items that are full of memories - the fashion sketch given to me by Steven Stipelman after a demonstration he did for my art class in college, the Fender Rock & Roll cap, the safari hat, an old picture of dh and me in high school, kids' artwork and lots more...

There's a really cozy sofa with feather cushions in there too.....

The view from the window isn't too bad either....

The school area, where my children are often found....

C) Share a verse this week that is on your heart.
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
