The Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY

Outside my Window...leaves rustling in the wind, bright sunshine & birds. Yes, it's a perfect spring day.

I am thinking...about how to continue selling bread at the produce stand without raising my prices too much because of the price increase of groceries.

I am thankful for...my home and the love in it

From the kitchen...Sandwich bread in the breadmaker and chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven

I am creating...new recipes ideas for spring

I am going...to be much more careful with my driving because of the cost of gas, but will still need to pick up boys from school later.

I am wearing...navy blue capri pants, bubblegum pink polo shirt, new pearl necklace, and toile apron

I am reading...May/June Victoria Magazine, Bad Girls of the Bible (for bible study), and local park & recreation booklet for summer activity ideas.

I am hoping...that my husband may let me homeschool Bryson again next year since he really isn't doing any better academically than he was when I homeschooled him for the first 2.5 years.  I'm not pushing, and will follow whatever he says, just hoping.

I am hearing...leaf blower, birds twerping, leaves rustling, and bread kneading in machine

Around the house...laundry, paperwork, changing sheets from flannel to cotton, organizing spring clothes

One of my favorite things...is sweet tea

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...get everything prepared to go out of town from Thursday to Sunday (By MYSELF!), get Nick signed up for high school, and finish any last minute appointments before school's out next Friday.

Have a Blessed Week

~Farrah

Have a fun trip, Farrah.

You sound so chic!

My church did the Bad Girls bible study last year. It opened up some intimate discussion and was great at breaking down walls.

I like tea too, although I prefer it not sweet. Anyhow I wanted to stop by and say hello

Beth,
Thank you for stopping by! I'm not sure if you have stopped by before. Your name sounds familiar. I hope you come by again!
Blessings for your day.
