Dear Mom,

First of all I love you oh so much.  But finally, after being a Mother myself for 10 years I now appreciate you.  You and I do not have the same lives (though Jennifer is definitely following after you and I am following after Nana) I appreciate all you taught, ways you loved, ways your provided, and lived your life.  It's sad that it takes growing up and having our own children to have a proper understanding of what it takes to be a Mother and raise her children.  Any woman can give birth, but it takes someone special to be a Mother.  I am so thankful to God that you are mine.
