I had heard about this book from one of my favorite blogs www.yoursacredcalling.blogspot.com.  It is by Stacy MacDonald author of "Handmaidens of Virtue" and Jennie Chancey of www.ladiesagainstfeminism.com.  I am always looking for materials to help me in my role as a wife, mother, homemaker, and most importantly living my life as these things according to the Word of God.  This past Christmas I ordered many things for my sons from www.visionforum.com.  They sent me a $10 off coupon.  After Christmas Vision Forum had their Winter sale (which I believe may still be going on so check it out) I decided to order a few books.  Normally I rarely purchase books because I can get them for free from the library, but all of the books on Vision Forum I cannot find at our local library :-(.  So I used my coupon and purchased this book, "Homemaking" by J.R. Miller and "Mother" by Kathleen Norris.  I am smack dab in the middle of this book.  I must say it is truly inspirational.  If you are a SAHM, or working Mom this book will help you in rearing your family and running your household in the ways of the Lord.

I have heard so much about this book that I just had to order it. I actually ordered it from a link on a blog I visited this weekend. Can't wait to get it in, so I can start reading it.........Kitty

I haven't heard of anyone's thoughts on the Homemaking book, so I was glad to read about yours. I would like to get this book eventually. I want to check out the links you sent too.
